Im just done with SharePoint services setup.

I in a process of making a top level site.

For this I want to customize the site as in giving it a new look.

I was looking for z_images in documents & lists to replace the pics…..

But the link is not there….

Am I doing something wrong….

Please guide me to the right way of customizing my site. Any link or document would be highly appreciated.

I not following your explanation about what you are trying to replace. Are you working with SharePoint Portal 2003, Windows SharePoint Services (WSS), or the new beta versions (MOSS 2007 and WSS v3)?

2003 information:

The images for the site  are stored on the web server. You can create a picture library and store images in there to be used on the site, but existing images that are a part of a top  level site are stored on the web server (\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\60\TEMPLATE\images)
