Is an XHTML+CSS2 compliant Sharepoint 2007 implementation a reality?

I have been working with the beta of Sharepoint 2007, and I am really
impressed by it. However, I wish that the sharepoint engine would
generate more semantic markup, as upposed to layout-heavy markup. Has
anyone else had this same concern?
