Is an XHTML valid SharePoint 07 implementation possible?

I have been working with the beta of Sharepoint 2007, and I am really
impressed by it. However, I wish that the sharepoint engine would
generate more semantic markup, as apposed to layout-heavy markup. Has
anyone else had this same concern?

I for one would pay top dollar to any ISV that would write a solution
that would enable XHTML compliance throughout sharepoint.
