WSS2.0 / Lists gone bad

Asked By: Geoffrey    Date: Sep 13    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1209

I have 2 lists on a WSS 2.0 team site that I cannot get rid of. They
are empty and have no items.

When I click them, all I get is the following:

Cannot complete this action.

Please try again.

Troubleshoot <javascript:HelpWindowKey(%22troubleshooting%22)> issues
with Windows SharePoint Services.

Is there any way to manually delete these lists from the site by any
other way? Does anyone know of a way?

Take a look at the discussion on here called "Automatic mapping
between Document Library and NTFS folder"

Use that method to map to your site, navigate to the corrupted list,
and try just using the Delete key.
