One day our search stopped working. I stopped the WSS Search Service
and disconnected from the search DB. Then I started the WSS Search
Service again from central admin and it created a new DB. Went into
the Shared Service provider to reset/reassign the indexing server.
Now when I go to Search Settings under Shared Service Admin, I
get "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an
indication that other memory is corrupt". I have run a repair with no
luck and search continues not to return results.......any ideas?
