When assigning security at site / site-collection level, the user
profile is copied from MySites into the site-collection which I
believe is called WSS profile. At a later time when MySites profile is
updated, either through import or manually, then this info is meant to
be copied across the the WSS profile by a timer job. It is controlled
by STSADM -o sync operation. This profile is shown on 'My Settings'
screen.

This does not seem to be working. I understand that the user is meant
to be active but still for active users it does not seem to be working.

How do I get it to work?
