WSS 3.0 - Having Anonymous users log in, supply details

Asked By: Kayla Lewis         Date: Jun 29, 2008      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 331

Is there a way to have anonymous users

1. First fill out contact information, and provide a logon and password.
2. Have a lost password link that emails them the password if they
lose it.

Here's a three-part article to get you started.

msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb975135.aspx

The first article discusses the various types of authentication and when
each is appropriate to use.

The FBA module of the Community Kit for SharePoint : Intranet-Extranet
Edition (CKS:IEE) provides a member signup web part and a reset password
web part.
