I have a wss 2.0 sites that has failed to install SP2 twice. The
configuration is front end server, backend server, that uses
fiberchannel to the san to connect to its data.

Both servers are flaky.
I was needing to get sp2 to install so I could run the prescan
tool...and eventually figure out which way to migrate.

Now I need to move this to other equipment.

One of the questions is that if this is a pre sp2 install (on the old
equipment) would the OS I move to need to be a OS also need to be
this??

I am planning to run this thru an Iscsi connection off of the San.
(moving the database to the newer san.)

ANy suggestions??
