workflow problem

Asked By: Keely    Date: Dec 06    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 688

I have some doubts
and technical problems in implementing SPS 2003. Could
anyone of you please help me to find out the solutions
for the same?

I have installed sps 2003 in my machine(single machine
deployment – iis,ads and sps are in the same machine).
I created 5 users in active directory service. I know
that sps 2003 does not support sequential workflow
document routing so I have installed backward
compatibility document library in order to enable
document routing. I created a sequential workflow(
that the document should be approved one after
another). The document routing is working fine. The
guys in the approval flow wants to make some changes
on the document and then approve it. After editing ,
when the user try to save the document, it gives the
following error.

THE PROERTIES OF THIS DOCUMENT CANNOT BE SAVED. THE
SERVER IS NOT AVAILABLE OR YOUR ACCOUNT CANNOT BE
AUTHENTICATED.

The only problem comes while editing and approval. If
the guy does not want to edit , just he wants to
approve the documents means it works fine.

I have to figure out the problem as early as possible
because we need to deliver the solutions to our client
next week.

If you have any ideas to resolve this problem, Please
send me the solution.

Use the "Page Viewer" Web Part:
1) Go to your Area "A", in the zone where you document library is displayed,
click on the document library name - this will take you to a display page
with only the document library on it.

2) Copy the URL from the address bar
3) Go to your Area "B", and uder the edit page function, drage a "Page
Viewer" web part to your Area "B". Then in the "modify shared webpart"
pane, past the URL you copied.

This will display your document library in your area B. You may still have
to adjust the vertical and horizontal size of the page viewer web part.
