Asked By: Ronald    Date: Apr 09    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 933

I'm new in Share Point and I would like to know if is possible to
create a WORK FLOW in Share Point.
If yes, where can I find information about it?

This is possible using WSSv3 or MOSS 2007 (both currently in beta). There is no
OOTB workflow support in WSSv2/SPS2003.

You could purchase CorasWorks which is an add on product for SPS 03. That
supports work  flows I believe.

Yes, it does support workflow. Alternatively, you can always write custom code
to do it, writing custom event handlers and updating metadata.

Also, SPS2003 has a 2 step workflow OOTB (I dont know whether you can call it a
workflow or not). You can submit a document to the portal and it will not appear
unless the admin approves it.
