Word to PDF

Hi,

Our electronic registry is in SharePoint 2007. Word documents need to be imported into the registry, but they need to be converted to text searchable PDF documents. The Word document then needs to be discarded and only the PDF should remain. The documents also need to be indexed. Is there any solution in SharePoint that can make this happen?
