Windows Server 2008 joining addtional WFE problem

Asked By: Akeem    Date: Sep 04    Category: MOSS    Views: 736

Got central admin installed happily on sso-farm-1, no problem. Then joined the
other two boxes, both WFT's, to the farm no problem. BUT when we go to create a
new web application <portal.server.xxx> the IIS site on the primary box is
created just fine but not on the other two boxes. So we were figuring that our
server\sharepoint.admin account (the one we are running this under) doesn¢t have
enough permissions. It¢s already an admin on each of the boxes themselves, but
do you think it needs to be a domain admin to fire correctly on the other two
machines?
My guess is it¢s either that or there is something whacky with MOSS being
installed on IIS 7.0
Does anyone know?
