WF status stuck Inprogress

I have created a Visual studio Workflow for approval and other kind of stuff,
When approver Approve or rejects a task everything working fine except the
status. i.e, the status changes from Not started to In progress its not moving
to completed, But for certain tasks its working fine I mean the status getting
updated to completed. I was hanged up with these issue for past 2 days ,Please
get me out of this Problem
