We were having issues with one of our Timer jobs failing on my development
server so my Sys Admin installed hotfix kb946517 and changed DCOM application
permissions for OSearch with adding Local Launch and Local Activation for our SP
accounts. In addition to SharePoint, I also have a standard website application
on this machine. After installing this hotfix for SP I'm having some strange
things happening with my other website.

1. When I type in the website address it is defaulting to default.aspx. There
is not a default.aspx page in my web application. I have set my start page to
login.aspx and I checked my IIS documents list and my login.aspx is there.

2. Receiving the error:
