Weird Browser Problem

Asked By: Katie    Date: Feb 28    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 835

I have Googled this question with no success.

I administer several WSS and SPS installations. During the course of
my duties I have had occassion to edit some of the files using
FrontPage. After having done so, any time I try to go to the main
page of a WSS or SPS site, Internet Explorer crashes with the "Do you
want to send a report to MS" message.

If I do not close the browser window before clicking yes or no to the
message my pc will die with a BSOD. If I close the browser first,
just IE crashes and I go on my merry way.

I can connect to a WSS or SPS site as long as I don't link directly
to the home page. It doesn't seem to matter what page I've edited in

I'm confused....

Has anyone ever experienced anything similar?

Just a guess but check your IE Tool->Internet options->Advanced and check the two debuging settings. Try changing them.
