I'm showing a problem on our SharePoint installation: on the home page I can
click on the X box in the upper right hand corner of a Web part and remove
it from the page. Only those Web parts that I have specifically enabled
users to remove them has this feature. However, no one else in the group
with access to the site can do this: when my authors click on the X, they
get an NT challenge, and when they provide their NT credentials, they get a
message indicating that access is restricted. This is true for all
coordinator and author users, except myself. I am the only user who can
close these Web parts, and the only difference between myself and the other
coordinator users who cannot close them is that they are not administrators
on the server.
Any ideas?
