I have one good problem which may be very usefull to all of us if i find the
solution. I have a Menu WebPart in which i have 5 menus. I have a network of 700
user. My menu is common to my portal but the content in the menu or some parts
of the menu i want to show it to some users and some part to some other use. FOr
example
I have 5 menu in the top band and whenever i move mouse on each of the menu i
get the dropdown menu just like what we have on our explorer window. What i
means is on ID we have File, Edit, View, Favourities, Tools and Help. whenever
we take mouse to file menu the file menu dropdown appears. Similar kind of
Functionality i am providing in a webpart. Now what i want is out of my five
menu for some user i want to show 4 menu , for some i want to show 3 and for few
i want to show all. All this i want to check it through NT login. Can i do this?
I have a another solution for this. What i thought is I will create two or three
webpart with number of menu and depending on NT user i will activate the
corresponding webpart, But i feel that it increase the work and reduce the
intergiry and compactness. SO i want to it at one webpart by adding some code.
Has anyone done this kind of work before. if any one know about this please let
me know. I am in a urgent need.
