WebPart Border

Asked By: Luke Reynolds         Date: Mar 04, 2004      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 434

I want to display borders across each and every webpart present on the
main page of a default Sharepoint Portal. I have used two ways

1) Setting Frametype property of Web part zone to "Standard".
1) Setting Frametype property of Web part to "Standard".

None of them work. Can someone help me here?

Open webpart  properties page, select “appearance->frame style” change it to “title bar and border”.

Nope... that was the first thing I tried... that didnt work  either....

Note that i am working on the default.aspx (main) page  on a sharepoint
Portal that is created typically.

It does work for sharepoint  sites but it does not work for
the default  homepage of sharepoint portal.

I tried it here, its working, might be some other property  disturbing/blocking this to display. Also if u have change the web  site theme to some other color, that might not showing the border  properly, change the theme to standard, that might showed up.
