WebFolder Weirdness

Asked By: Emilio Bridges         Date: Jul 30, 2003      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 157

I can't open web folders on my machine. I click on the Explorer View
Link on the web page, the browser freezes, then shows a DOS file path in
the Address bar like: \myportalname\safety\Shared%20Documents and then
displays a file not found error. Has anyone run into this? Running WINXP
Pro.

It works on other machines?

We had this problem.

There was a disconnect between the OS, MIcrosoft Office Suite and SPV2

IF you are using XP AND Office 2003 with SPV2--- you should be FINE.

Are you using these??

I am using Office XP and FP2003/OneNote2003/InfoPath so sort of a hybrid
right now. I will try upgrading soon, and try it again.

Sounds like some type of corruption in the OS.
