Web part Pages Duplication/Templatization

Asked By: Eddy Smith         Date: Dec 16, 2006      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 192

Is there a way to create one web part page and duplicate it through
out a WSS Site of a set of WSS Sites? What I would like to do is
create one page with a set of webparts and create a master page
effect. So that if I have 20 pages on a WSS I can modify the Web Part
Page Template and have the changes so up on all web part pages. I
would like to include a set of web parts in that Page so that I don't
have to modify all of the pages and add the same web parts. Trying to
create some consistinacy through-out the pages. I want to make sure
that the pages are ghosted as well. I know I can save them as another
name in FrontPage but that is not an option for me.

I think you can save  the doc library as a template  with the
documents included. The document would be the web  part page.

Then the list will appear in the create  new pages  of the site
collection.
