Web Folder, corresponding to a document library

Asked By: Deandre Gibbs         Date: Jul 13, 2003      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 320

Once again (I have asked this question earlier... Sorry for that... I
probably need spoon feeding), how do I find what web folder is
associated with each of my document libraries.

An e.g. A document library added on the SPPS2003 site's home page,
Another Document library created under Sites (as Team Site).

You can create a web  folder at the root of the portal by creating a network place pointing to http://servername

You can also create specific folder  pointing to each doc lib by finding the URL first

I think when you go to the particular document  library, and look at the 'Modify settings & columns' in the actions, you will find  the web  address of the document library. It is in the format http://servername/area-sitename/..../forms/Allitems.aspx
Instead of the Allitems.aspx you need WebFldrs.aspx to see the explorer view or webfolders.
