Using a web application on a web part page

Asked By: Jessie Medina         Date: Feb 26, 2010      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 578

We use an online sales system for lead and opportunity management and we
want our users to be able to access the application as a web part on a
webpart page. I initially used the web page viewer part to show the site
homepage however using this part if you click on a link from the page it
takes you out of the portal and into the website. Is there a way to be able
to navigate through a website from a web part page? If so how?

I have done it before using Quick links
There I've made a folder for web  part and put all the
part needs on that then set the hyperlink Address then
it is possible to navigate  through web part.

It might be simpler to just use FrontPage 2003 to add an iframe instead of a web
part. In any case if the other website  uses target="" tags in it's URLs there
may be problems...
