A way to get all search result at once programatically?

Asked By: Chaim    Date: Jul 10    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 644

Is there a way to get all search result at once
programatically?

I can override
Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.WebControls.SearchResults.
However, I found that SearchResults contains only the
result of the current page, and the number of which is
configurable from the Search Results page Custom
Properties "Specifies the maximum number of items to
display". For instance, if I set the number to 100
(SharePoint default is 40), from SearchResults object,
I can only get 100 records at a time. But I need to
know all search result records.

Is the total search result available somewhere?
