way to delete information that has already been put out in the Project Mangement Link Web Part

I have just started at a company that has installed SharePoint,
however, they have not set anything up but the home page. I have
added a link in the Project Mangement Link Web Part (shared) and I
need to delete others. The problem is I cannot find a way to delete
information that has already been put out there. Any suggestions
would be greatful. I am so frustrated. I have never worked with this
product before. I do have all admin rights.

Is this a Link list that you are viewing on the home page? If so, if you
should be able to click the title in the title bar and you will be
directed to the actual list page. If you have contribtutor rights you
will be able to add/edit/delete listitems.
