I want a tree view web part whose nodes will come from xml file

I am new to sharepoint portal. Can you help me in following queries?
1> I want a tree view web part whose nodes will come from xml file.
2> I wanted to add one new column in Document upload page in doc
library. But the values of this column should not be static, it should
come from database table.
3> How to deploy one sharepoint portal from development server to
staging server
