Visual Studio 2008 and SharePoint 2007

Being a bleeding edge kind of guy, I recently decided to step up to VS2008,
and am having a lot of problems with it. While this is generally a matter
for a different list, I am curious what SharePoint designers did on their
dev servers to prepare for their upgrade. For example, did you load .NET
Framework 3.5 or any other configuration changes? Any problems noted with

We did load .NET Framework 3.5 on our development servers, and will plan on
doing the same for production when we go live. You'll also want to look into
updating your web.config to .NET Framework 3.5 as well...

If you have VS 2008 and 3.5 loaded on your machine, when you open a SharePoint
site then it should prompt you to update your web.config to 2.5

Sorry typo at the end.

It should read 3.5 not 2.5
