Views in Moss

Is it possible to export a view so I can use it on another site? We
have a central place where we store all of our inventory. We have
created different views based off this list. Now, we would like to be
able to use the views on our My Sites, or on other sites within MOSS.
Is this possible? I haven't seen an export option on the view when we
put it on the page as a web part.

No. However, views  can be defined in the list  Definition itself. These
would be available whenever a new list is created. The VSeWSS tool will
let you generate a list definition from an existing list. That would
generate the CAML you'll need to use this approach. The SharePoint
Solution Generator is really the only salvageable part  of the entire
