User/Password Cached somewhere SPS2003

  Asked By: Dale    Date: Aug 19    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1128

I was showing someone on my team how to do some function for
which she did not have access in SP2003. When the login screen popped
up in Sharepoint I used my user/password and mistakenly clicked
"remember my password." She has logged in/out, rebooted, shut down. No
matter what when she goes back in she has my rights and when she
clicks on "My Site" it takes her to mine, not hers'.

To make matters worse her PC was resplendent in all sorts of spyware,
etc... I have cleaned I think all of it off, emptied, toasted, roasted
and flushed her Temporary internet files, Cookies, etc... But it
continues to log her in as me on SP even though she is logging into AD
as herself. Is there somewhere cryptic my password is cached, that I
am missing?

1) Clear Cookies

2) ControlPanel -> Users -> Manage Passwords

3) Remove the sharepoint  password

That totally worked.
I would have totally thought that logging  in/out of AD would trump a
stored pw.
