After user signs in, how can i get page to refresh to show custom

If you are user and sign in to anonymous site, you have to go to
another site and comeback before web parts will load that you should
now have access to. I am assuming that IE is caching the fact that you
are not autheniticated...anyone know how to rectify this problem?
