User can not get in - Help

Asked By: Jackie Ayala         Date: Dec 23, 2005      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 161

I am running WSS with NT4 domain. I have 2 NT domain users that are
in the site user list but can not get into the site. I am very
puzzled. I have a few document libraries and there is one library
that these 2 users do not have rights to. I dont know which SQL table
actually control the access. Would someone know if there is a hotfix
for this problem? Or which direction should I head into for finding a
solution.

As we know that , we need to set in site  settings to
give NTDomain users  for permissions. It should work
with this. There might have some problem  in AD.Are u
able find the details for those users when u click
select user  link from the site settigs.

If u not get the details in the list  , then there
might be something wrong with the connecntions.

Yes. In the admin page I was able to pull out the user  details and able to see that they are contributor of the site. But they can not get in. They are able to get into another site  of the same server. So I know it is the site access  setting. Something is not working correctly. Not sure how to trouble shoot.
