We are seeing a lot of gaps in the User info data for each site collection (& portal/area), many users have no email attached to their entry and/or their display name is the same as the username (domain\username). This causes all sorts of downstream problems .
Can anyone shed any light as to how this data arrives in WSS/SPS and why some data seems to be complete and other users data incorrect.
