New user added, cannot access Sharepoint until services restart

I have a problem that I hope someone has a work a round for. When I
add a new user to Sharepoint and assign them a role, I have to
restart IIS, Sharepoint, ETC in order for the user to access
Sharepoint. Anyone know of a work around or fix??

The best way that I know is to add groups to sharepoint. When you add
users to the groups you should not have to restart  the services.

I had the same problem. I didn't find any solution. Instead I created
different groups in Active Directory and add this group to SPS. Then you
just add user  in AD and you don't have to restart  SP server.

I second this. Since we've used global groups, our permissions are no
longer an issue.
