Uploading file to docLib and starting workflow

Asked By: Staci    Date: Aug 27    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 3093

I am trying to upload an xml document and start a workflow once the
document is uploaded. My problem is that I get an error when the
workflow tries to start saying "Failed on Start (retrying). After 3 or
4 minutes, it does start the workflow. If I just upload a doc using
Sharepoint's UI, the workflow kicks off immediately.

I don't get why my workflow is showing errors when I upload the doc
programmatcially. What am I doing wrong?

Here is the error  msg in the logs. I have absolutely no clue as to
why this workflow  gives me "failed to start" when I add a document  to
the library programmatically.
