Upload multiple documents in document library of team site

Some how I see the link to upload multiple files in a document library
of my team site (in SPPS 2003), however my user who has contributor
access to this team site does not see this upload multiple files link to
upload documents. He gets only the browse button for single file
uploads. BTW, I have administrator access to this team site.

Any idea what I need to do to correct this ?

They have to have Office 2003 in order to have this capability.

But I have Office 2000 (i.e. Word, Excel etc v 2000)

The only office 2003 component I have is MS Office Visio 2003.

Does that make any sense?

Multiple upload is made possible by an ActiveX control, and this control is
install by most (all?) of the Office 2003 programs. Sounds like you are getting
yours from your Visio 2003 installation.

Yes because the part that enables upload of multiple files is not
specific to a product and a common dll (can't remember which on
specifically). It gets installed with (most) of any of the Office 2003
products.
