Upload multiple documents in document library of team site

Some how I see the link to upload multiple files in a document library of my team site (in SPPS 2003), however my user who has contributor access to this team site does not see this upload multiple files link to upload documents. He gets only the browse button for single file uploads. BTW, I have administrator access to this team site.

Any idea what I need to do to correct this ?

he upload multiple files link is a feature that requires the client to have Office 2003 installed.
