Upgrade Outlook 2007 - using MS office 2003

Asked By: Fallon    Date: Jun 27    Category: MOSS    Views: 810

I have recently upgraded from outlook 2003 to outlook 2007 - In
sharepoint when I try to view in datasheet I get this - browser does
not support ActiveX controls, or support for ActiveX controls is
disabled. Currently we have 2003 Office installed not planning on
upgrade to 2007 - however I have a laptop running MS Office 2007 and we
just installed Outlook upgrade to 2007 and view in datasheet works fine
in sharepoint.

Is there a known issue with this upgrade to outlook 2007 and continuing
to run MS office suite 2003.

This is a frequently encountered issue when running a mixed version Office
installation. Simply run Repair on your Office 2003 install from Control Panel
> Add/Remove Programs and your problem should be resolved.
