I need to create a web form for our help ticket system to be accessed
on our SharePoint Intranet site. There are three tables that need to
be updated when the web form is submitted; tblrequest, tblmemo, and
usrrequest. I created a data form web part for a new item for one of
the tables but I'm not sure how to incorporate the update to the other
two tables. Also, some of the fields on the form need to be populated
by data found in a different table. For example, the new request Id
field for the the three tables needs to be the next sequential number
from the tblrequest table. Can anyone give me some tips on how to do
this or send me a good resource that will walk me through this?
