Update webpart properties through asp.net page

Asked By: Grace    Date: Jul 25    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1565

I'm creating sites/areas through custom asp.net user interface instead of sharepoint interface in order to meet the few needs of the customer. There are few custom templates(template with left nav menu, header, footer. etc) there to create the sites/areas in SPS 2003. We have one custom template which has "Events Calendar" webpart in the "MiddleRightZone" of the page, the problem here is by default the "Events Calendar" selects the "Current View" of selected view property which lists the events by dates. But I need the calendar view as the default one when I create a site with this template through my user interface.

Please help me how to proceed with in order to change the in-built sharepoint webparts properties dynamically thru aspx page.

Can't you just set the property on the tag in the ASPX page  where you are using it?
