Whenever we add users to a sharepoint group it sends an email as thisWelcome to the 'HR PayCal Members' SharePoint group. Gauri Yadav(CorpDOM\gyadav) has added you to the 'HR PayCal Members Members' group for thisSharePoint site.Group description: Use this group to give people contribute permissions to theSharePoint site: PayCal MembersAnd when we click on PayCal Members Yellow it directs to the site.But in my casethe link is point to a wrong URL and i need to update this.
Just a small addition to my post. When i checked the central admin >> servers infarm >> The Windows SharePoint Services Outgoing E-Mail version not showing upin the servers.
Can you elaborate on what "wrong URL" you are seeing? Typically these typeemails will go either to a URL based on either the current one being used by theuser doing the add, or the default based on the AAM settings.
Can you anyone please provide some suggestion on this.
