Unghosting and portal areas/subareas

I have heard/read so much on unghosting sites and that it is best to
avoid doing that. Does the same apply to portal areas and subareas? If
you open an area using FrontPage, will you unghost the area?

Is there another way to format list views beside writing code?

Yes, Areas/Sub Areas have the same limitation. You can OPEN in FrontPage without unghosting  – just don’t save. List views  can be converted to data views in FrontPage … other than that you’re buying a third party tool or writing  your own.
