unauthorized access

Asked By: Nilay    Date: Feb 24    Category: MOSS    Views: 783

It's been awhile, but I had to create VM to test some updates that are being
planned for our moss environment. I have install MOSS 2007 with SP2, and all
of the latest server 2003 updates. I have created a new site collection on
port 80, and a new site based on the blank template. there is a entry in the
host file for the newly created site. when i try to access the site, i keep
getting an access denied error. I have added the site to the intranet sites
security zone, and selected logon with current username/password. Is there
something else that needs to be configured?
