We had Sharepoint 2003 installed and working for some time. Then at one
point we started getting "Unable to get global configuration data". We regained
access to SPS Central Admin pages by reading our admin ID back to the
Sharepoint SQL-Server databases. However we still get this error when attempting
to access the portals. Detailed error log revealed the following:
EXECUTE permission denied on object 'sub_GetSiteLocaleInfo', database 'Division3_SITE', owner 'dbo'. at Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Data.a.a(SqlCommand A_0, CommandBehavior A_1, Boolean A_2) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Data.a.a(SqlCommand A_0, CommandBehavior A_1, Boolean A_2) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Data.a.a(SqlCommand A_0, CommandBehavior A_1) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Data.a.a(SqlCommand A_0, CommandBehavior A_1) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Data.a.a(SqlCommand A_0) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Data.a.a(SqlCommand A_0) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.WebControls.SiteInfo.GetNewSiteInfo(PortalContext ctx, Boolean fAllowPortalApplicationRefresh)
Anyone know how this would have occurred AND
what's the easiest way to get my databases permissions set back to what the need to be??????
