I am trying to create a projects site. After I have created my
virtual directory, I go in and extent the site. I get the message
that the Virtual Server Successfully Extended. When I click on the
url for the New top-level Web site URL, I get the following message:

Cannot connect to the configuration database.

We are on a medium server farm with 2 front end boxes, and a box each
for the repository, and the index server.

What am I doing wrong?
