How do I trigger a calendar event

How do I trigger a calendar event based on an entry on the calendar.
Basically if I enter a product realease date on 1/31 I want 5 or 6
other entries to be made on the calendar based on that date.
I am using MOSS.

Have you tried customized workflow developed with SharePoint Designer
2007? You can do it from there.
