Trial version and original version server restore

We are using SharePoint Portal Server 2003 trial version, now we
have SharePoint Portal Server 2003 orginal version with us. I am not
been able to restore my data of trial version to original version.
Can anybody guide me how can I resolve this issue as we have a lot
of our work done on trial version.

You can take the back up of your TRIAL version and it will be a file
with the extension .FWP.

You can use this file to restore your site in the NEW VERSION!!

Steps to follow:

To backup your Site :

Open .Net Command Prompt

Change the Path to

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server
extensions\60\BIN

Type smigrate you will get all the parameters and relevant information.

Following the Examples take a backup of your TRIAL site.

Now to restore your site..

Create the Site in your SPS portal!! Do all the steps and when it
request for a TEMPLATE to apply!! Close it there DO not apply a Template
if you do so when you restore the site it will prompt an error saying
TEMPLATE already applied.

Therefore close it there and restore the BACKED UP site to the new site
following the examples under smigrate.

After migration Visit the site you created it will be there for you

This should work since we have done it many times.
