Tracking content within a list

Asked By: Keaton    Date: Mar 31    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1374

I have a requirement where I wanted to know if there is any way to
track changes within a SharePoint list. What I am looking for is when
some changes the content in a list, how do we find what exactly got
changed?

I've been looking to do the same thing and have not found a good way.
We have turned on versioning and require content  approval. We cannot
see exactly what has changed in the list, but we know it has changed.

Set up an alert for the list, it will show you what was edited on
the individual items.

It would be a much better feature if it would show on the Approval.
Because when you are approving something you want to know what has
changed.
