Top nav menu flyouts stop working w/ custom master page

  Asked By: Destiny    Date: Jan 24    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 2193

...but ONLY under the following circumstances:

...when I add a ListView web part to the page...

...when the list being viewed is an Announcements list...

...when I use the default (Summary) view.

Does anyone have an idea about this? I'm pretty sure that our custom
master page has every imaginable ContentPlaceHolder in it, and our top nav
menu uses mostly custom CSS classes, so I don't know how the List View could
interfere with that. I'm at the end of my rope here

Do you have any content editor web part with javascript code added in the page? If so, try removing the javascript code and verify the menus are working.

I've modified the following code
window.onload = function () {
with the following code and it worked for me. Hope it helps.
_spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push("PageOnLoad");
function PageOnLoad() {
