Thumbnails visible on internal http-site but not showing on external

Asked By: Bryson    Date: Feb 01    Category: MOSS    Views: 1686

I have a MOSS 2007 site with an internal url (http) and an external
(https). This works fine with Alternate Access Mappings in a test and
production environment. I do have a problem with thumbnails in a Image
Library (the one you use when making an article page). The image
library contains .jpg and .gif files. In the internal site the
thumbnails are working fine. In the external site I don't see the
thumbnail but a generic image.

Any suggestions on what causes this and how to solve this?

Just a thought:
Right click on the generic image and look at the properties. What authentication
is being used for the Alternate Mapping? You may have to give permissions to the
images folder to Annonymous access.
