The only way I see to do this is, from discussion:
1. Modify settings and columns
2. Create a new view
3. Select fields you want including Post Date
4. Sort Order
5. Sort by Post Date
6. Name it and set as default

Thanks for the tip but it is still not threaded.

The problem is that I would like to have it just like the default threaded  view but with the latest  subject first.

Any help  would be appreciated.

Even if i group by "Subject"?

It just presents the subjects alphabetically not chronologically.
