Threaded View Issues

Asked By: Nancy Vohwinkel         Date: Aug 31, 2010      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 849

hi, I searched and didn't find my issue- I apologize if this is a duplicate.

I'm working with SPS 3.0. In my discussion boards, I've created a threaded view and in each have set the threaded view as default. However, under my site settings it still shows subject view as the default (in fact both views are checked as defaults?) and when I go to the actual discussion and click on VIEWS- my threaded view I created is not in the list. I can create all the views I like in fact, none of them ever show when I pull up the views list.

What am I missing here?

I get the same results whether I create the view from:

Discussion Board Settings > Views or View > Create a View.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated. I'm pulling my hair out over here and google isn't giving me anything new to try!
